How time flies!

Well I have been pretty useless at this blog thing. It has been quite some time since I posted anything, 4 months to be precise! Doesn't time fly when you are having fun! Sometimes fun in the loosest sense of the word. In the last 4 months we have wrapped up a fantastic winter, Gary has been off on a number of building jaunts and we have returned to working for a fantastic cycling company called Marmot Tours (check them out) not only that we have started and finished a couple of Pyrenees Haven projects (a few more in the pipeline) and now started what promises to be a fantastic summer season here in the wondrous Ariege Pyrenees. Wow. We have just had time to take a breath before Le Tour de France hits our roads with a couple of cheeky camping days away 8 miles down the valley. He ventured over the Andorran border to tackle the 'easy' summit of Pic dels Pedrons and very lovely it was too. I get to play out of resort on Friday so keep checking the blog to see what I get up to.

Oh, my word, what a morning.

Oh, my word, what a morning.

Wow, was the only word Gary could utter when he returned home this afternoon. It was only after a hot chocolate and a double fried egg sandwich that he was in a position to form words as to how awesome the snow was today. Today was officially the best day of the season so far. Never an effusive character, apparently skiing today was 'at times like floating through the air', take from that what you will!
